Hangover and Deathly Hallows sequels release new posters!

Both are big sequels coming out this year. HP7 is actually the 2nd part finale and I can’t freaking wait for July! Waaaaaaaaa!!!! Pardon my fanboy alter-ego. I love the face-off theme of the poster, we’re in for a gruesome treat.

The Hangover was such a smash in 2009 that they decided to make Part 2 and this time the gang hits Bangkok dangerous, hehe. Looks like they’re in a lot of trouble once again which will be fun to watch. I got a feeling that monkey will be a pain in their ass. My only problem here is, where is Justin Bartha??? Hope he’s still part of the movie.

Superheroes Dominate 2011

My inner geek is happy like when I get new comics for my birthday as a kid. DC and Marvel are going all out in 2011 bringing into the big screen their biggest characters. Which superhero are you most excited to see?

Chris Evans is not new to the superhero universe playing The Human Torch on the Fantastic Four movies, but now he’s portraying an even bigger character as Captain America “The First Avenger”.

Although the Justice League of America has been cast already for its big screen premiere, famous member Green Lantern finally gets his own spotlight as Ryan Reynolds brings him to life.

New actor Chris Hemsworth plays one of the classic superheroes in America. Thor, though I’m not much aware of his story, is a huge character for Marvel as well.

Though the Spider-man reboot is already in the works, I don’t think it will be ready til next year. So this X-Men prequel is the one I’m most gearing up to see. I hope the characters will be equally exciting as the earlier movies.

The End Begins

I saw this along the Ayala underpass yesterday and I immediately felt giddy inside:

I so wanted to watch this right there and then but I know I’d have to wait until next week. I’m looking for reservations and they are full already. I want to watch on the first day but I’d have to wait for my friends who are busy because I’m not, hehe. You can tell I’m in an HP craze as of the moment. 😀

I’m just really hyped, THIS IS IT! Part 1 of the finale, I’m expecting the movie will leave you hanging and craving for the main dish ahead. For Part 2, it kills me that we’d have to wait until July 2011 (that’s 8 months) but I think it works here. There’s much to be excluded if they’d fit it into one. And plus, it just makes the ending more grand. The anticipation is building up inside… I CANNOT WAIT! 🙂

Love & Other Drugs

Kind of cornball movie title, isn’t it?  This RomCom reunites 2 of my favorite actors Jake Gyllenhaal & Anne Hathaway so I will watch this, no matter what. They worked together on the 2005 critically acclaimed Ang Lee film, Brokeback Mountain. Set to be released this November 24 in the US, hopefully, I won’t wait too long for the local screenings in Manila. I’m lovin’ the trailer, check it out below. ❤
