adam-lambert-for-your-entertainment-album-cover-01

Glambert fanatics maybe going gaga over this but me not really. I’m one of those on the fence about this. He looks like Cher! Sure, she’s a gay icon and well, he’s gay but…. I don’t know maybe its just a matter of taste. Could he be any gayer? Anyways, this is the official cover art for Adam’s debut album – finally!, For Your Entertainment to be released this November 23rd. One of the tracks Time for Miracles, will be featured on the end-of-the-world disaster movie ‘2012′. Let’s just say, I’m more excited with the music than all this visual artistry crap, which is a good thing. What makes him exciting is because no one out there is like him. Anyways, his official first single which is also the title track was just released and i’m really likin’ it, have a listen on AdamOfficial.com

For Your Entertainment

So hot out the box can we pick up the pace?

Baby, do what I say

Don’t trip off the glitz

No escaping when I start

Once I’m in I own your heart

There’s no way you’ll ring the alarm

So hold on until it’s over

Chorus

Oooh, do you know what you got into?

Can you handle what I’m about to do?

‘Cause it’s about to get rough for you

I’m here for your entertainment

Oooh, I bet you thought that I was soft and sweet

‘Ya fallen angel swept ya off ya feet

Well I’m about to turn up the heat

I’m here for your entertainment

It’s alright you’ll be fine baby, I’m in control

Take the pain take the pleasure

I’m the master of both

Close your eyes not your mind

Let me into your soul

No escaping when I start

Once I’m in I own your heart

There’s no way you ring the alarm

So hold on until it’s over

Cause it’s about to get rough for you

Well I’m about to turn up the heat

I’m here for your entertainment

What’s a Ty-Over???

ANTM13-1280x1024

Cycle 13 is fiercer than ever! Finally, I’ve a caught a glimpse of the latest cycle and collectively, this is probably one of the best bunch I’ve seen. These girls really got what it takes with very little exceptions. As we all have heard, after Cycle 10’s first full-figured winner Whitney, Tyra breaks the norm once again exclusively casting this season with models in heights 5’7″ and under. I also love the whole theme of the Top Model house with a sign at the front door saying: “You have to be this short to enter…” with a huge 5’7″ beside. Right now, I have just watched the second episode which shows the first challenge of the 14 finalists and the infamous make-over portion and I’ve got my early favorites: Rae and Nicole. Check out their photos from the photoshoot challenge:

F-I-E-R-C-E. So what is a Ty-Over? It’s a tall makeover!!! Can you believe these models are ‘short’?

Head onto The CW website for the models’ portfolios and loads of other stuff. 🙂

Remember his name.

It may not have been as critically-acclaimed as the original but the 2009 remake of Fame surely made an impression on me courtesy of lead actor, Asher Book. Heck, I didn’t even watch the movie but I’m planning to just because of him. Isn’t he cute??? And he looks better with his hair up too, for that matter, coz I saw pictures of him with bangs on. This 21 year old actor, dancer and singer (member of V Factory, apparently a US singing group) alongside Naturi Naughton leads the pack of aspiring artists or basically fame whores. 😛 Check out the rest of the pics from the premiere.

♥ GLEE!

Glee

Don’t you just wanna be part of McKinley High? Eversince this musical series started last month I’ve juggled my free time between watching this and Gossip Girl with True Blood now and then. 🙂 I really love the music and of course the ensemble. The lovable Spanish teacher, Will (Matthew Morrison) taking over Glee club, the obnoxious but funny head coach of the Cheerios, Sue (Jane Lynch), the lead female vocals of New Directions, Rachel (Lea Michele), of course the hot star quarterback Finn (Cory Monteith) who was blackmailed into joining, the young diva, Mercedes (Amber Riley), the gay fashionista – why does that sound redundant somehow? 😛 , Kurt (Chris Colfer), the stuttering goth student Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), the electric guitar player in wheelchair Artie (Kevin McHale), Puck (Mark Salling) the cougar-loving hunk from the football team, Quinn (Dianna Agron) the head cheerleader and ironically, the president of the Celibacy Club 😀 and Emma (Jayma Mays) the weird big-eyed Guidance Counselor who finds herself falling for Will who is by the way married to Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig) the demanding wife, among others. Glee brings me back to the ugly and amazing parts of being in high school, immediately on the pilot episode I felt nostalgic about that time when we were still innocent, or so I think, with less worries. Be sure to catch a glimpse of the show and I’m telling you, you’ll get hooked.

I’m so excited about the news that they’re actually releasing an album – of course the singles were made available on iTunes, but a compilation is way better. Check out the official cover and track listing after the jump, almost all of my favorites are in so, yey!

The Host

I’ve been meaning to post about this one but I just didn’t have the time to compose a review for awhile.

Wizards Vs. Vampires Aliens. What do you think?

The Host made me a certified follower of Stephenie Meyer. At first I couldn’t imagine her outside of the Twilight realm, which is why I think I hesitated to buy this book plus the fact its categorized as ‘science fiction’ or basically alien stuff, yeah I’m not really into those. But as I read reviews and got recommendation from a friend (thanks Chloe!) I finally decided to pick it up from a local bookstore and started reading it. And I was immediately intrigued, I couldn’t stop reading. I realized I really like how she writes and tells the story, she relates to you and that’s what makes it enjoyable to read. Once again, I grew attached to the characters and as unlikely the setting is, it was completely believable. I’m amazed by her imagination and creative juices. She gives you a totally different world that will make you want to climb into it and experience first hand. Right now, I’m wishing there was a sequel – I’m missing it (them) already: Wanda and Mel, Ian, Jamie, Doc, Uncle Jeb and Jared. I also appreciate how Stephenie can make really romantic plots no matter how unconventional the circumstances are. I’m glad I read this one and hopefully she won’t stop and keep writing more. Congrats to her for the success of her first adult novel. Well recommended! 🙂

One more thing, I’m really happy with this piece of news I got off Stephenie’s official website:

September 23, 2009

Hey guys, great news! The Host is on its way to the big screen:

Variety.com: “Twilight’s Meyer…”

I’m so excited to be working with Nick Wechsler, and Steve and Paula Mae Schwartz to bring The Host to a visual format. They’ve all been a dream to work with, so lovely and collaborative, and I feel like we’re in a really good place to make a great movie together. And then to have Andrew Niccol writing and directing? Truly awesome. If you’ve never seen Gattaca, go watch it now. One of my favorite movies of all time. It’s such a great example of character driven science fiction, which is ideal for The Host, no? I’m having an absolute blast imagining different dream casts, which I would post if people didn’t take my silly blogs so seriously these days. I’m looking forward to seeing the cast lists you come up with in the fansite forums, and if any of them match mine.

So, very exciting. Yay Host!

XO

Steph

I can’t wait as well… 🙂

Choice Hottie for October: Ben Barnes

We have been captivated by this english actor since that title role as Prince Caspian in The Chronicles of Narnia sequel and since then we can’t get enough of his handsome face, tall physique and that long, tousled hair or should I say mane? Benjamin Thomas Barnes was born August 20, 1981, thanks to the genes of Mr. and Mrs. Barnes I have something to post this October :-D. This one is for your viewing pleasure.

We’re already looking forward on seeing more of him on his upcoming films: Dorian Gray and the 3rd installment in TCON: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader but for now let’s all stop and stare… ogle even. 😉

P.S. He looks good even with short hair.. when doesn’t he look good? Though I like him better with a little scruffiness going on. 🙂

Last Song Syndrome: Down by Jay Sean

Nice song from UK R&B singer Jay Sean. Check out his real name: Kamaljit Singh Jhooti, I guess its cause he’s of Punjab descent (Pakistan/India). Down marks his debut in America, this song also features Lil’ Wayne. Cool track and he’s kinda hot. 😛
