On A Roll

4 destinations in 3 months. Talk about money-splurging on travel this year. Remember my post last August about my first time in Boracay with KPMG peeps? That’s the first. A month later, I went to Palawan with college berks for some sort of reunion and just this month, as a birthday present to myself, I packed for Cebu and Bohol for some vacay with office friends. Don’t forget though, midway through the year I visited Bolinao and the renowned Hundred Islands in Alaminos. That makes 5 total, now I’m broke. 😀

Ink Never Looked So Good!

That’s 20-year old model/sales agent Mark Whittington who caught my eye online at the Cosmo website. I was just doing some random browsing and then I saw this guy – now that’s what you call StumbleUpon. I don’t have a fetish for tattoos, especially that many, but those are some sexy inks. You’ll see what I mean after the jump. 😉

If you want more awesome pics, he is currently featured on Cosmo as October 2010 Online Hunk. He’s just on his 3rd week so we can expect one more batch of hot photos soon! Trust me, the guy has some really nice shots there but first, here’s a preview:

Man Crushing on Paul Rudd

I think I him already. 😉 I was watching I Love You, Man for the first time last night and I thought: “Where the hell am I when this came out?!”. Paul Rudd was high-larious! And so adorable if I may say. I was really surprised on how funny the movie was. As always, I’m now in wikipedia mode about him. Despite the fact that he’s a bit older for my taste, I’m really diggin’ him. Cutie pie!!!

Rudd’s comedy actor status can be pretty much owed to director/producer Judd Apatow for films such as The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Anchorman, Role Models and of course, my current fave I Love You, Man. He was also on Dinner for Schmucks and Over Her Dead Body opposite Eva Longoria. During the 90’s, he appeared on hits like Clueless and the Jennifer Aniston movie, The Object Of My Affection.

If you wanna see more, here’s a bit of a teaser from his past Rolling Stone feature:

Hello Bumworld!

Yep. It’s finally here. The beginning of the end. My last week as a KPMG auditor – although I suppose I’ll forever be an “auditor”. It’s in my veins now. 3 years of crazy, man, I never thought. And with those times came the good and yes, the really, really bad ones. But I’m grateful that I was able to experience it and then realize eventually that it’s not for me. Trust me, I also don’t know what is.

With that I also proclaim thyself  ‘the broke one’, hehe. I have yet to find a new job but I will, soon (oh please I’m begging you!!!). But for now, bumlife will be my bestfriend for approximately 2 weeks. One of the longest 2 weeks of my life, probably but that’s the plan and I intend to keep it. What? I haven’t had a decent VL for almost a year! Believe it.

To good ol’ pals! To all the patient mentors! And to all hardworking staffs! It’s not exactly a walk in the park so I salute all of you. I’m proud to have worked with such great people. No goodbyes, just later. See you around. I will definitely miss it and miss y’all! 🙂

Spotlight on Burlesque

I can’t believe I haven’t plugged this in my blog. I feel like I let my girl, Xtina down. Just kidding, hehe.

Burlesque, Christina’s acting debut – though I’m a bit concerned if she has the chops, will premiere next month already. But her co-star Cher, yes living legend, is all praises for her so that’s a start. Plus I really love the trailer and the music, the official soundtrack should be equally exciting. I’ve listened to ‘Spotlight’ already which is the movie’s theme and the girl’s pipes are not one bit rusty. If you don’t agree, see for yourself below:

You also have Kristen Bell and Cam Gigandet in there, even Stanley Tucci so that’s more reason to watch the film. I’m not sure about the director, he’s not familiar to me. But I think I’m gonna be enjoying this one, no Oscar hopes but I wish it won’t tank at the box office. Since Bionic didn’t exactly made a splash this year I hope this one will, at least with the moviegoers – to hell with critics! 😀
