Hangover 2 Brought The Crazy All The Way To Bangkok

If the producers wanted to make the first movie look tamed then they definitely succeeded. My eyes haven’t recovered yet from all things I saw in there. And if you have watched both movies then you’d know it literally is like déjà vu which is both good and bad. Good, since it’s hilarious how the wolf pack (somehow the name stuck) never learn their lesson and how you can connect the things that happened in Vegas to this time in Bangkok. It’s bad for me since you cannot expect more from it other than that, ya its crazier in a whole new level but somehow I still think the first one is more funny and authentic.

Alan (Zach Galifianakis) really is the root of all the mayhem and he delivered most of the funny moments. Stu (Ed Helms) is comical mainly because of all the predicament he gets into and its nasty I tell ya. Phil (Bradley Cooper is just insanely hot), though not as amusing, is necessary to lead the pack in figuring out what happened to Stu’s missing would be brother-in-law, Teddy played by Mason Lee who is just adorable. Now Mr. Chow (Ken Jeong) is just LMFAO outrageous in this! Without doubt, he stole some of the spotlight. I just wish that Doug (Justin Bartha) got on in the action as well which means more screen time. Fans of the first one will not be disappointed but don’t expect too much.

Man Crushing on Paul Rudd

I think I him already. 😉 I was watching I Love You, Man for the first time last night and I thought: “Where the hell am I when this came out?!”. Paul Rudd was high-larious! And so adorable if I may say. I was really surprised on how funny the movie was. As always, I’m now in wikipedia mode about him. Despite the fact that he’s a bit older for my taste, I’m really diggin’ him. Cutie pie!!!

Rudd’s comedy actor status can be pretty much owed to director/producer Judd Apatow for films such as The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Anchorman, Role Models and of course, my current fave I Love You, Man. He was also on Dinner for Schmucks and Over Her Dead Body opposite Eva Longoria. During the 90’s, he appeared on hits like Clueless and the Jennifer Aniston movie, The Object Of My Affection.

If you wanna see more, here’s a bit of a teaser from his past Rolling Stone feature:

Welcome to Cougar Town?

This ABC sitcom may not have the best premise when it premiered last September 2009 but I really enjoyed the succeeding episodes since then. Currently slated for a 2nd season this fall, the show has strayed so far from the initial storyline that the title doesn’t really fit anymore. But change title or not, the show is actually funny.

The cast has that chemistry that compliments each other’s moments, they make each other laugh. It must be amazing to go to work for these people. Headed by Courtney Cox who plays Jules, the lucrative divorcé and single mother who starts dating, well, younger men. Joined by her two love/hate best friends played by Christa Miller and Busy Philipps plus the hilarious male cast: Josh Hopkins (the hot neighbor), Ian Gomez (the other not-so-hot but funny neighbor), Dan Byrd (son), Brian Van Holt (ex-husband). I must admit I judged this show way too early, I mean ‘Cougar Town’, really? That’s just so cliché.  But give it a try and you’ll know its decent enough to kill your boring days and exercise those face muscles. 🙂

Feeling down and low? Well, there’s always Fmylife.com or more commonly known as FML, to cheer you up. Tip: head to “The Best of FML” and “Intimacy” categories for some instant laughs. As an alternative, you have Mylifeisaverage.com which is more of the same thing: random posts of everyday people who can tell you why your life is way f***in’ better (hehe). But if you really wanna feel somewhat “superior” head on to Mylifeistwilight.com and you’ll see posts of twihard fanatics or, now I’m thinking more like twilight haters, confessing their “obsession” on, well, Twilight. If you’re more of a Youtube type, you can check out Funnyordie.com and see some famous people get on in on the ride.

Want more? A few days back, I found another one. Try reading on Failblog.org just like what I do when my day is all shitty and I immediately feel so good after.

Kris Allen and Adam Lambert funny moment.

Love this video, check it out. It features an interview by US magazine.com to the 2 Idol finalists. Watch for the question about who takes the top bunk in the tour bus and Adam’s answer. It’s so true when somebody said that Kris’s reaction was priceless! It makes me wonder, what if in an alternate universe, these 2 guys hook up hehe. They’re both hot so why not? LOL. Enjoy! 😀
