I liked this guy from the time he was launched as the new Man of Steel in 2006’s Superman Returns and who would deny the uncanny resemblance? In my opinion, he portrayed the title role with just the right balance of charm as Clark Kent and confidence as Superman. Not to mention he’s effin’ gorgeous and tall (a lethal combination) which brought about this post right here. 😉 The above screen cap is from his recent movie Dylan Dog: Dead of Night which tanked in ticket sales and was bombed by critics. I saw the trailer and it was admittedly bad (haha). At least he didn’t deprive us of his hot body unlike in SR. I so wanted his career to take off from that movie and see more of him but it didn’t happen. I heard they’re rebooting Superman again with a new actor albeit he’s perfect for the part. Anyways he did settle for supporting roles; one, more famous than others, is a recurring character in the TV series Chuck’s 3rd season. I don’t watch the show though so I sort of still didn’t feel his presence. But his time will come, I just know it. 🙂
Here’s model hottie Jiro Shirakawa turned actor and now known as Kenji. Apparently, he was on ABS-CBN’s Gimik 2010 and the winner of Mossimo Bikini Summit 2009. Here’s some shirtless proof of his chinito goodness:
I was watching HBO last week and saw a movie called Center Stage: Turn It Up (apparently its a sequel to the 2000 ballet flick). A certain actor named Kenny Wormald caught my attention and he’s a looker. He’s an awesome dancer, really I don’t think anyone can make ballet that sexy. Proving he’s got skills, he was in MTV’s Dancelife, performed for Justin Timberlake’s Futuresex/Loveshow Tour and rumor has it that he got the lead role in the remake of Kevin Bacon’s classic, Footloose. In which both Zac Efron & Chace Crawford were initially offered the role.
That’s 20-year old model/sales agent Mark Whittington who caught my eye online at the Cosmo website. I was just doing some random browsing and then I saw this guy – now that’s what you call StumbleUpon. I don’t have a fetish for tattoos, especially that many, but those are some sexy inks. You’ll see what I mean after the jump. 😉
If you want more awesome pics, he is currently featured on Cosmoas October 2010 Online Hunk. He’s just on his 3rd week so we can expect one more batch of hot photos soon! Trust me, the guy has some really nice shots there but first, here’s a preview:
I think I ♥ him already. 😉 I was watching I Love You, Man for the first time last night and I thought: “Where the hell am I when this came out?!”. Paul Rudd was high-larious! And so adorable if I may say. I was really surprised on how funny the movie was. As always, I’m now in wikipedia mode about him. Despite the fact that he’s a bit older for my taste, I’m really diggin’ him. Cutie pie!!!
Rudd’s comedy actor status can be pretty much owed to director/producer Judd Apatow for films such as The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Anchorman, Role Models and of course, my current fave I Love You, Man. He was also on Dinner for Schmucks and Over Her Dead Body opposite Eva Longoria. During the 90’s, he appeared on hits like Clueless and the Jennifer Aniston movie, The Object Of My Affection.
If you wanna see more, here’s a bit of a teaser from his past Rolling Stone feature:
They call it the “Brapanese” invasion. I say, I don’t care where they came from but they are some fine specimen and they can keep coming here as long as they want. You may already know Aki as one of my choice hottie posts and Hideo Muraoka (center) from F&H ads, but this one is all about Daniel Matsunaga (first one on the left).
He is such a cutie and once again what a nice smile and his body is just, well, perfect. He has been in the local scene for a while now, appearing in primetime shows (yes, acting stints) and mostly modeling jobs. His rise to fame here, I think, came from being featured as one of Cosmo’s 2009 Centerfolds. And guess what, he was rumored to be having such a blast in Manila that he’s actually planning to become a citizen. Oh please, Republic of the Philippines, please say YES! 🙂 See more of this charming fellow after the jump…
I saw this guy for the first time playing some high school jock in 2001’s Not Another Teen Movie (which it was!). If it wasn’t for the fact that he had a sort-of naked scene; covered with whip cream and strategically placed cherries and a hotdog, 😉 I wouldn’t have bothered going through it. The movie was blah and yeah, he was already cute then but when I saw him 3 years later: shirtless in the suspense movie Cellular, his sexy meter (not that I used one) just went berserk! With a couple of movies, hot magazine features and appearances everywhere since then, he was certified Hollywood hunk. This actor of Italian and Irish roots, became a household name when landed the film role as one of Marvel‘s Fantastic Four. Aptly starring as Johnny Storm a.k.a. The Human Torch, needless to say he was scorching hot – figuratively and literally and yes, of course he took his shirt off! He is super fine in the shots above and I don’t mind that love trail at all. 😛
More famous for portraying the teenage Anakin Skywalker a.k.a. the young Darth Vader in the Star Wars II and II prequels: Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, this Canadian, 28 year-old actor has recently caught my eye. I saw Jumper (2008 blockbuster hit)on HBO the other day and immediately noticed; what – with those deep-set eyes and melting stare. 🙂 I reckon he’s going to be a top action star, a formidable rival for Shia LaBeouf. What do you think? Early on his career, his acting chops were praised for his role in the movie Life as a House back in 2001, so I think he’s got “IT”, he just need more breaks. Hope we see more of him this 2010.
28 year od actor Jacob Benjamin Gyllenhaal, famous for his wide variety of roles portrayed on film both critically-acclaimed and blockbuster ones (e.g. Bubble Boy, The Day After Tomorrow, Brokeback Mountain, Proof, Jarhead, Rendition and the upcoming Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time), is one heck of a guy. Said to be charming in real life – with those puppy dog eyes and melting smile, no list of hot men or monthly feature that he wouldn’t be on. He’s just adorable and needless to say, S-E-X-Y. Happy 2008 everyone!
We have been captivated by this english actor since that title role as Prince Caspian in The Chronicles of Narnia sequel and since then we can’t get enough of his handsome face, tall physique and that long, tousled hair or should I say mane? Benjamin Thomas Barnes was born August 20, 1981, thanks to the genes of Mr. and Mrs. Barnes I have something to post this October :-D. This one is for your viewing pleasure.
We’re already looking forward on seeing more of him on his upcoming films: Dorian Gray and the 3rd installment in TCON: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader but for now let’s all stop and stare… ogle even. 😉
P.S. He looks good even with short hair.. when doesn’t he look good? Though I like him better with a little scruffiness going on. 🙂
First day of the month. You know what I’m thinking right? 😀 Choice Hottie time once again and since the cold season has officially started; its the ‘ber’ months already! Let’s up this whole thing a notch shall we? This time I’m featuring the King (inarguably) of Sex, his royal hotness Mr. JT.
Can you believe that it has been over 3 years since we first saw that very cute ‘Troy Bolton’ boy on that hit made-for-TV movie and remembering thinking to yourself “wow this guy is cute!” and feeling kind of ‘am-i-a-cougar-having-a-crush-on-him? after. Now, we can all admit to ourselves: “Yes, I am!”, he’s all buffed up, uber hot, oozing with sex appeal and kind of emanating that whole manly grown-up look. Have you seen his guns? (LOL) I know, right?
His real name is Zachary David Alexander Efron, very old English don’t you think? Born on October 18, 1987 on San Luis Obispo, California. As early as 2002, Zac has been working on his acting career by appearing on TV shows such as ER, Summerland and CSI. Then Disney gave him that big break and pretty soon he was everywhere. You know that he’s a certified household name by 2006 when he was victimized by that infamous MTV reality show and Ashton Kutcher project ‘Punk’d’. Soon came movie deals such as Hairspray, HSM 3 and the recently released 17 Again. Now, whether its on magazine covers or hosting SNL, it is apparent Hollywood found a new star and eye candy. We’ll be seeing more of him for sure in the coming years. 🙂
Born Channing Matthew Tatum in Cullman, Alabama but to his fans Chan was a model for the popular brand Abercrombie & Fitch. Since then, he continued modelling and pursued an acting career, as well. This 29 year old actor appeared in films such as She’s The Man opposite comedienne Amanda Bynes and a part in Samuel L. Jackson’s Coach Carter. He built his brand by showing his moves on the successful dance flick Step Up and Step Up 2: The Streets. But his biggest breaks came from his more recent projects: playing the lead in the aptly titled ‘fight club’ themed movie Fighting, a role in Johnny Depp’s Public Enemies and of course the upcoming G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. He’ll surely be seen in every press event, tv show and magazine these days promoting for these films. So do watch out for him, meanwhile, enjoy these pictures from his GQ cover article stating his claim to fame and his beginnings (worked in construction and as a perfumespritzer). I consider him a hottie because of his all-american look, those piercing eyes and of course who wouldn’t take a second look at that gorgeous body?
Call me JD or Sly. A huge music, movie, TV, books and pop culture junkie. Having said that, I'm not remotely good at any form of art (haha!). I'm more of the behind-the-scenes type. Being an introvert, I'm better at expressing my thoughts in writing than in person. My life is a bore so this blog is some sort of outlet to keep my sanity. Most of the time though, my typing hands are busy with work so I do this only when my schedule permits or if I'm passionate about something I've heard/seen/read lately.
Blogger - me? I wouldn't call myself that. I don't even know if I'm doing it right. After all, I'm just a regular person thinking out loud through written words on a modern platform. It's an enjoyable pastime and it's very therapeutic at times. So I hope you enjoy reading around and uh, feel free to hit me back. :-)
