Aside from the news that James Franco and Anne Hathaway will be hosting the 2011 Academy Awards ceremony, the live nominations announcement has just taken place and I was not disappointed. I did notice though the number of Best Picture nominees were up this year and the snubs: Christopher Nolan for Best Director, Andrew Garfield for Best Supporting Actor, Mark Wahlberg and Ryan Gosling for Best Actor. In turn we get to see Mark Ruffalo and Javier Bardem get noms, so congrats to them.
